This web site is owned and operated by The Laity, a public charitable non-profit based in the United States.

Our Policy

The Laity respects and protects the privacy of our online visitors and donors. The Laity does not disclose, give, sell or transfer to third parties any personal information about our visitors without their permission, unless required by law.

The Laity will not share its donor mailing lists or personal information with third parties. Mailing lists, both postal and electronic, are never sold or exchanged with third parties.

If you donate to The Laity, some of your personal information is required for our vendor(s) to process your payment. Depending on the source of the donation, our vendor(s) may collect your name, address(es), phone number, email address, and payment information, and may provide that information to us. If you provide a phone number, address or email, The Laity may telephone, send postal mail, or email you, unless you inform us that you do not wish to be contacted.

In order to detect fraud or security issues, the information you provide, and other information such as information automatically collected from website visitors may be analyzed by the devices we use in our infrastructure to detect fraud or security issues.

The Laity depends upon third-party vendors to accept donations via credit card, and does not directly or indirectly receive credit card information.

Information You Voluntarily Provide
